Handmade by Neile Cooper, these are Real Blue Morpho (underside) wings encased in a very thin lightweight glass and silver alloy, and are hung on graceful sterling silver wires. The round earring shape enhances the incredible eyes on the wings.
Lightweight and 1" wide, 1 1/2" long from the ear including wire.
The butterfly wings the artist uses are from butterflies farmed all over the world, and collected when naturally expired. None are killed for use in this jewelry. Butterfly farming is revitalizing struggling rainforest communities around the world!
